Connect Google Drive (for imported résumés)

Connect Google Drive during a candidate import so Binary can pull in résumés stored as Drive links.

What it is

When you import a list of candidates whose résumés live in Google Drive (Drive links in your spreadsheet), Binary needs access to fetch those files. This happens as a step inside the import flow - there's no separate "connect Drive" setting elsewhere.

How it works

  1. During a candidate import (see Import a form or a list of candidates), if Binary detects Google Drive links in your spreadsheet, it shows a Google Drive step ("Select Files").
  2. Click Select Files to sign in to Google and open the Drive file picker.
  3. Select the files (résumés) referenced in your spreadsheet - Binary shows how many of your CSV's files were matched - then continue. Binary pulls them in as candidate attachments.

Connecting Drive also enables PDF previews and lets the AI assistant read those documents.

Notes & limits

  • Drive connection is only used during import; it's not a standalone integration.
  • Available on all plans.
  • You can skip the Drive step if you don't need those files imported.
