Workspace settings

Change your workspace's name and logo, manage the public link and plan, and control same-domain join - all under Settings.

What it is

Settings (https://binary.so/settings) is where workspace Admins manage the shared workspace. (Your own profile lives separately - see Your personal settings.)

Settings has four tabs: General, People, Interviews, and Integrations. People and Integrations are Admin-only (hidden for non-admins); the Interviews tab (availability) needs the Business plan. Non-admins effectively see only their personal profile under General.

What you can change

  • Logo - upload or remove the workspace logo ("Logo updated").
  • Name - rename the workspace ("Name updated").
  • Public link - the careers-page handle/URL ("This link shows all live forms and can be shared with candidates") - see Set up your public page.
  • Plan - see your current plan with Manage (opens billing) and Upgrade buttons - see Plans and billing.
  • Workspace defaults - default stages (see Default pipeline stages), reply templates, and feedback templates applied to new forms.
  • Members - invite people and set roles, under the People tab - see Add members to a workspace.

Trusted domain (same-domain join)

In Settings → People, the Trusted domain toggle lets "anyone with the email @{your domain} can join this workspace as a member" - handy for letting colleagues self-join as full members (helper: "Members only see forms they have created or been added to"). Toggling it shows "Workspace discovery enabled" / "Workspace discovery disabled."

  • It's hidden when the workspace owner's email is on a generic or educational domain - the blocked list covers personal providers (gmail.com, googlemail.com, outlook.com, hotmail., live., yahoo.*, icloud, proton, etc.) and education domains (.edu, .ac., .sch., .university, .school). Those can't be used as a trusted domain.
  • Don't confuse this with the referral trusted domain (in Referral settings), which lets same-domain people join as Referrers (not members) - see Manage the referral program.

Notes & limits

  • These settings are Admin-only; non-admins see just their personal profile.
  • The trusted-domain toggle is hidden for generic email domains (e.g. gmail.com).
