Feedback templates
Build reusable sets of interview-feedback questions so interviewers answer the same structured questions each time.
What it is
A feedback template is a reusable set of questions interviewers answer when they leave feedback. Every template includes three fixed questions - Title, Overall Rating (the Strong No → Strong Yes scale), and Additional Notes - and you can add your own custom questions on top.
Requires the Business plan. Building and editing feedback templates is a Business-plan feature; the default rating + notes form works without it.
Custom questions
Add questions of three types:
- Rating - the same Strong No / No / Yes / Strong Yes scale.
- Short answer - a one-line answer.
- Rich text - a longer, formatted answer.
Each question can be marked required, and you can reorder questions (the three fixed ones stay but can be repositioned).
Where templates apply
- Form templates - used by interviews on that form.
- Workspace defaults - applied to new forms as they're created.
There's also a built-in Basic template (Title + Overall Rating + Additional Notes) that can't be renamed, edited, or deleted.
Manage templates
- When scheduling an interview (Schedule an interview), tick "Add a link that only interviewer can access", then make sure Feedback form is ticked under it.
- Click the Template dropdown next to it (it shows the current template, e.g. Basic) and choose Manage feedback templates to open the manager.
- Add a template, name it, and add your custom questions; set which are required and reorder as needed. Changes save automatically.
- You can also set a default template, duplicate one, or delete a custom template.
Notes & limits
- Business plan required to create/edit templates.
- The system Basic template can't be changed or removed.
- You can't delete a template that's set as the default - set another as default first.
- Existing feedback already submitted isn't changed when you edit a template.
- Form editors manage a form's templates; workspace defaults are managed at the workspace level.
Add interview feedback
Rate a candidate and leave interview feedback - in the app, or via the feedback link interviewers get with their calendar invite.
Form analytics
Hiring metrics for a single form - candidates over time, views and conversion, traffic sources, review/response rates, and the candidate funnel.
