Add members to a form

Invite a teammate by email to a specific form so they can manage its candidates and edit it.

What it is

Every form has its own list of people who can work on it - shown in Binary as editors. Adding a member invites a teammate by email and gives them access to that one form: they can manage its candidates (review, message, move stages) and edit the form. This is form-level access and is separate from workspace membership - see Notes & limits.

Where to find it

Open the form from your Forms list (the home screen, https://binary.so), then look at the top-right of the form. The Add editors control is the person-with-a-plus icon (👤⁺), sitting just left of the View form and copy-link icons.

The same Add editors icon appears in the top bar of both of the form's screens:

  • Responses page: https://binary.so/forms/{identifier}/responses
  • Form editor: https://binary.so/forms/{identifier}/edit

{identifier} is the form's id from the URL - e.g. N5mvMBi in https://binary.so/forms/N5mvMBi/responses.

Steps

  1. Open the form you want to share - click it in your Forms list, or go straight to https://binary.so/forms/{identifier}/responses.
  2. At the top-right of the form, click the Add editors icon (a person with a +). The Add editors dialog opens - "Editors can manage candidates and edit the form."
  3. Type the teammate's email into the Enter email field.
  4. Press Enter or click Invite. They are sent an invite, appear under People with access, and you'll see an "Invite sent" confirmation.
  5. Repeat for any other teammates you want to add.

Notes & limits

  • What access an editor gets: full access to that form - manage candidates and edit the form. Everyone you add is an editor; there is no separate permission level to choose.
  • The Owner can't be removed. The form's creator shows an Owner badge in People with access. Any other editor can be removed - hover their row and remove them; you'll see an "Editor removed" confirmation.
  • Workspace admins are automatic. The ⓘ next to People with access notes that admins of the workspace can always access every form, so you don't need to add them per form.
  • Removing your own access navigates you out of the form.
  • Already added: re-inviting someone already on the list shows "This editor is already added."

Note: Form editors are not the same as workspace members. Adding an editor here grants access to this one form only. To manage who belongs to the whole workspace, use Workspace settings → Members (see Add members to a workspace).
