Search and filter candidates
Find candidates by name or email and narrow the list with filters (stage, label, answers, comments, message status, attachments, and more).
What it is
On a form's Responses page you can search and filter the candidate list to focus on the people you care about.
Search
Use the search box in the toolbar to match candidates by name or email (case-insensitive). Search applies within the current stage tab.
Note: Search matches a candidate's name or email only - you can't search by company, form title, school, skill, or location.
Filters
Open the filter control to narrow the list. Depending on the form you can filter by:
- Stage - selecting a stage tab filters to that stage.
- Reply Status - At least one message sent / No message sent.
- Comments - At least one comment added / No comments added.
- AI Review - by an AI criterion's verdict (Yes / No / Maybe) - see AI review.
- Source - how the candidate came in (applied via form, referred, added by admin).
- Created, Email, any question column, and the Interviews / LinkedIn columns when the form has them. The filter matches the column type - text contains, a chosen option for single/multi-select, a number/date range, or has attachment / no attachment for file uploads.
- Labels, where a form uses them.
You can also sort by clicking a column header.
Saved view
Your filters and sort are saved on the form, so the list comes back the way you left it next time you open it. Column order and width are saved on the form too. Because these are stored on the form (not per person), they're shared with everyone who edits it - adjusting filters/sort or rearranging columns changes the default view other editors see as well.
Notes & limits
- Search and filters apply to one form's candidates (the Responses page you're on) - there's no cross-form candidate search.
- Filtering by label requires labels to exist on the form - see Add and manage labels.
